Three reasons
What does PAS Portugal offer?
Strategic perspective, Food & Agribusiness specialization and learning among business owners and executives.
Strategic perspective
A space to pause, broaden your view and reflect on the decisions that will shape your company’s future.
Food & Agribusiness specialization
A view of the sector built on San Telmo’s experience and its knowledge of the different business models across the chain.
A benchmark school for the Food & Agribusiness sector
San Telmo has been educating the senior management of the Food value chain for more than 40 years.
Methodology
Learning by making decisions: the Case Method
Participants analyse real business situations, first individually and then with their team. In the classroom, the professor leads a debate in which different experiences and points of view are contrasted. A practical methodology that broadens perspective and improves the ability to analyse and decide.
Individual study
Teamwork
You test your analysis in a group with executives from other links in the chain. That is where the angles you had not seen appear.
Classroom debate
An open debate led by the professor. Technical notes and conference-discussions support the discussion.
Application to your company
You close each case with judgment you can apply to your company from the next day. Practical and action-oriented, by design.

How is it organized to be compatible with professional activity?
Yes. The Portugal AgriFOOD Seminar (PAS) is designed for executives of Food & Agribusiness SMEs and cooperatives who want to develop a more strategic perspective without stepping away from the day-to-day management of their organizations.
Its methodology, based on the Case Method, combines individual study, teamwork and general sessions on real cases, in a format adapted to professionals with little time available. The program is structured in four on-campus modules of two days each, making it easier to combine with professional activity.
Where is it held and in what language?
PAS consists of four on-campus modules held between Lisbon and Seville, with the opening session in Lisbon.
The program is taught in Portuguese and Spanish, depending on the professor leading each session. Sessions run approximately from 09:30 to 18:15 on the first day and from 09:00 to 12:45 on the second.
Who can take part?
PAS is aimed at decision-makers in Food & Agribusiness SMEs and cooperatives, especially executives, administrators, chairs, general managers and other professionals with significant management responsibilities.
Its goal is to help participants broaden their overall view of the Food value chain, develop strategic capabilities and strengthen their management skills.
How much does it cost?
The registration fee is €3,950, a reduced amount thanks to the sponsorship of Caja Rural del Sur and Agrimútuo. Without this support, the program would cost €8,850.
Registration includes teaching materials, accommodation, working lunches, coffee breaks, a networking cocktail and participation, at no additional cost, in the Iberian Agri Conferences and Alimental events (attendance optional). To confirm your place, a €500 deposit must be paid within fifteen days of registration, with the remaining amount settled before the program begins.
